Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for a short time. After that, she switched to film and television. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a part of her work. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few seasons that were the life of Walter White.
